I can hardly believe my little baby girl is now FIVE years old.
It's been a long time coming for her.
Clara Rose has been counting down the days to her birthday and turning five since
Josie's birthday in November.
Seriously!
She was more excited for her birthday this year than for Christmas!
We baked a ton of cupcakes and she had a cupcake
party in her Pre-K class on her birthday.
That evening we had her family birthday celebration.
Clara Rose chose chicken fries (nuggets), french fries, and
cucumbers with dip for dinner.
After dinner we showered her with presents!
Big Sis, Jie Jie, gave her this purse
featuring One Direction.
A plush of her favorite cartoon character--
Perry the platypus. He even makes the
platypus sound like on TV.
Josie was thrilled to receive her consolation present bag.
Next we had a small-ish ice-cream cake for desert.
Ice-cream cake and a few cupcakes left from her school party.
The biggest hit for a present was the Perry plush toy
and a gift bag filled with gauze, medical tape, plastic gloves and tons of band aids.
All the real stuff!
Josie received a bag of medical supplies for her consolation present as well.
The girls love playing animal hospital and they
spent the rest of the night in their room, doctoring all their animals.
Out of 100 band aids, they had six left!
LOL.
The girls snuggled into Josie's bed and watched
a Sponge Bob DVD on their mini DVD player
before going to sleep.
