Build-a-Bear

The monday after Clara Rose's big birthday weekend is a Holiday.

Josie's Birthday also tends to hit a holiday so we've gotten in

the habit of doing a fun outing on these weekends in addition

to the birthday festivities.

This time around, we decided to hit Build-a-Bear!

Josie chose a lovely white bear that lights-up with

several different colors.

Clara Rose chose a brown dog and dressed him as Spider Man.

They chose hearts to put inside their new loveies.

Helped fill them with warm fluff.

Gave them a bath.

Persused the outfit choices--

Josie didn't want an outfit for her bear because she didn't

want to cover her pretty lights.

Clara Rose chose a Spider Man outfit

for her Super Dog!

Next up-- naming their new lovies!

"Jewelia" Bear

"Super Doggie"

It was a fun afternoon!

Clara Rose's Birthday Bash!

Clara Rose had her big Birthday party

the weekend following her Birthday.

Clara Rose was super HAPPY and

excited for all her friends to arrive!

It was a swinging good party day!

Her friend Grace taking a turn on the rope swing.

Clara Rose playing with her 'crew' from

her class at school.

Grace showing off her 'bridge' skills to her friend Callie.

Clara Rose yucking it up with her school friends.

Yes, she mostly hangs with the boys.

that also features a picture of Clara Rose and Josie (her request).

Blowing out her candles.

YEAH! CAKE!

Perry the Platypus for the Birthday Girl.

Next up--

PRESENTS!

She got a lot of good loot!

After presents it was time for

one more round of playtime!

Friends in the bounce house.

Cousin Abbie got super high on the swing!

Clara Rose having a Hoppy time with her friends!

It was  a really fun party!

I'm Five!

I can hardly believe my little baby girl is now FIVE years old.

It's been a long time coming for her.

Clara Rose has been counting down the days to her birthday and turning five since

Josie's birthday in November.

Seriously!

She was more excited for her birthday this year than for Christmas!

We baked a ton of cupcakes and she had a cupcake

party in her Pre-K class on her birthday.

That evening we had her family birthday celebration.

Clara Rose chose chicken fries (nuggets), french fries, and

cucumbers with dip for dinner.

After dinner we showered her with presents!

Big Sis, Jie Jie, gave her this purse

featuring One Direction.

A plush of her favorite cartoon character--

Perry the platypus. He even makes the

platypus sound like on TV.

Josie was thrilled to receive her consolation present bag.

Next we had a small-ish ice-cream cake for desert.

Ice-cream cake and a few cupcakes left from her school party.

The biggest hit for a present was the Perry plush toy

and a gift bag filled with gauze, medical tape, plastic gloves and tons of band aids.

All the real stuff!

Josie received a bag of medical supplies for her consolation present as well.

The girls love playing animal hospital and they

spent the rest of the night in their room, doctoring all their animals.

Out of 100 band aids, they had six left!

LOL.

The girls snuggled into Josie's bed and watched

a Sponge Bob DVD  on their mini DVD player

before going to sleep.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!!

We hope everyone enjoyed their Happy Holly-Day as much as we have!

Here are the girls Christmas Eve, dressed for church.

After church we went out to eat.

Back at home the girls sprinkled their reindeer food in the yard.

During the night, a delight was spread out!

The girls were so quick in the morning,

I was only able to capture Josie's expression as she came bursting into the living-room.

It was a present palooza!

Xavier opening his laptop.

Too many presents to track!

Later in the day we took a spin around the

block on the new scooters!

Freshly dressed for bed.

Phoebe was worn out from all the fun!

The girls had a blast sleeping with their new bed tent.

It has stars that glow in the dark!

The next few days was a frenzy of play . . .

Crafts,

Just Dance Kids for the Wii,

Dancing wands

Another play tent and lots of videos to watch inside it on a mini DVD player.

Did I mention crafts?

Merry Christmas to all!!!
