After a fairly lovely week-- weather-wise, this weekend is cool and rainy.
Boo-hiss.
I had planned to take the girls to the YMCA Healthy Kids Day today regardless, but because of the weather the even was held inside-- a little cramped and not quite as much fun as it would have been outside. Oh well, at least we had a fun activity for a rainy day and being real troopers, we all made the best of it and had a GREAT time!

The Girls playing a game at the YMCA-- they had to carry plastic eggs from one bucket to another bucket.
The egg game was part of an obstacle course-- after the egg bucket they scooted along on scooters, which was a lot of fun!
"C'mom Clara Rose- we go dis way!"
Clara Rose paid attention to how Josie was doing things and followed along perfectly.
Our very good friend Angeline and her mommy met us at the Healthy Kids Day. Josie and Ange enjoyed sitting together in the book room while making a book marker with some ribbon and beads.
Clara Rose was pretty intent on her book marker. She put more beads on her thread than Ange and Josie combined!
After the beading activity, the girls went to another room where they each got a flower painted on their face. Clara Rose also got a tattoo on her hand.
The girls had fun at the water table where they were given a little pill shaped toy that turned into sea creatures.
"Wook Mommy! I got a dolphin!"
Next on the agenda-- a little gardening.
"Oh wook! We can grow a bean!"
Clara Rose wasn't sure about what she was suppose to do with her bean.
"Bury it Clara Rose! Then it will grow."
"I am going to take good care of dis magic bean!"
