Josie's Birthday Week- Children's Museum

Josie asked to go to the Children's Museum on her Birthday-- sooo,

Off from work and school and away we went!

She made a quick stop at the fun mirrors-- but she had bigger diggs on her mind!

SKELETONS!

Josie has always refused to really be in this area of the museum.

But not today-- today, now that she is
FIVE

She wanted to spend a lot of time conquering her
fear of these bony guys.

Clara Rose was more than game to kick some
bony butts!

The girls spent a lot of time putting the
skeleton puzzle together . . .

Bone by bone-chilling bone.

Wow, that is me on the inside?!

Another fear-- the big buddah lady.

Not even Clara Rose was game for her!

Soon we were off to other areas of the museum--

The water room, where the girls managed to
construct a pipe system that sprayed water all over
the floor and in one instance . . .

All over somebodies grandma.

After a fun morning, we capped the night with
birthday presents!

Whoa, is she excited!

A pretty, frilly, sparkly outfit that is
near and dear to Josie's budding fashionista heart.

A baby buzz-buzz pillow pet--

"Yeah!  That is what I really wanted!"

Clara Rose was happy with her consolation present.

Josie was already cup-caked out, because at some point this week she already had
her cupcake party at school. It was a funfetti success.

Tonight she opted for a big scoop of chocolate ice-cream.
