Easter Prep

March usually feels like a long, cold, hard month and this
year was no different.

Even so, Easter weekend seemed to sneak up on us and we were
busy with festivities all weekend long!

Friday afternoon we colored eggs.

Nothing says fun quite like rainbow
colored eggs!

One event when double dipping
is always A-OK!

 Whoa!
Three dozen hard boiled eggs!

Friday-night
Movie night.

This is our Winter-time routine.

We lay out the sofa bed.

Make popcorn.

Some kind of sugary candy on the side, and

we watch a movie.

Usually I get a cartoon movie, but this weekend I decided
to try an old family tradition from when I was little and
The Wizard of OZ always played Easter Weekend.

Not sure why . . .

The girls weren't too sure about
my choice at first.

Why does the screen look funny?
Everything is brownish?

They were patient and it payed off

Several scenes left the girls giggling.

Thoughts on that "mean girl" who turned
into a witch . . .

Wim was mostly entertained by me taking pictures
of the TV screen while we watched the show.
Why are you taking pictures of the movie?
