I am simply going to upload a bunch of pictures and let them speak for themselves-- a picture is worth a 1000 words and all that. Today we are cleaning-up, taking down all the Christmas decorations, packing them away and starting our preparations for China!
This may be my last post until we are in Tianjin, January 2nd or 3rd.
Josie was all smiles waiting for her cousins to arrive.
The guests began to arrive.
After everyone arrived, the adults started handing out presents to all the kids and it was a frenzy!
Cousins Ethan and Nate comparing cars and trucks.
Cousin Abbie was all smiles!
You know it is a good present when Little Emily sticks out her tongue.
Abbie getting some sweets when nobody is looking!
:-D
Even the big boys needed some Mommy snuggle-time.
Josie showing off the cat door.
The younger cousins enjoying their crystal lolly-pops.
MeMa and Josie and the talking pony (that Josie calls a zebra)
All the cousins
All the Aunts and Uncles (plus one)
Xavier and Gabrielle giving Wii lessons to the older crowd.
Later in the evening, after everyone had left and Josie had her nap, her friend Grace came over to play.
The girls exchanged presents and had a great time playing Josie's bowling game and in Josie's tent.
Time to go! We have to clean-up and get ready to go to China!

Sounds like a fun day! How wonderful to have so much family around. We don't have any, so we have Christmas dinner with our Jewish friends! :)
About the gumdrop tree - Lily has a huge sweet tooth also, but these were made with spice drops which she doesn't like so much (and I must say I agree with her)!
I can't believe you leave for China this week! So excited for you!
Wonder if you'll look back on this next year and wonder "How in the world did you do all this?!! So much going on at the busiest time of the year!!!" So proud of you!
